Jamal's Helping Hands is a non-profit organization committed to supporting and uplifting communities in need. Founded on the principles of compassion, empathy, and action, we strive to provide resources and opportunities that foster growth and development.

Our mission at Jamal's Helping Hands is to provide client-focused support to patients and their families dealing with a chronic illness. 

We help these patients and families navigate the many and difficult travails of today's healthcare industry.  Our services include various resources and educational information to help you better manage your loved-one's healthcare. 

It is our goal to enhance the quality of our client's lives and to make things easier for their families. 

Lending a Hand, Changing Lives

  • Jamal's Care Navigation & Advocacy Program

    The Care Navigation & Advocacy Program provides personalized healthcare coaching and resource navigation to help individuals with rare and chronic illnesses and their caregivers understand medical options, coordinate treatment, and advocate for appropriate care. This program reduces confusion, delays, and stress associated with navigating complex healthcare systems.


  • Caregiver Education & Support Program

    The Caregiver Education & Support Program equips caregivers with practical knowledge, emotional support, and peer connection through educational workshops and facilitated support groups. The program addresses caregiver burnout, isolation, and knowledge gaps that directly impact patient outcomes.

  • Medical Access & Stability Assistance Program

    The Medical Access & Stability Assistance Program provides direct financial support to families facing urgent treatment-related expenses, including lodging, meals, and travel for medical care. This program ensures financial hardship does not prevent individuals from accessing life-saving or critical treatment.

There were times when I didn't know if I would be able to make it to my doctor's appointment, and not only that, I didn't know how I was going to pay for a place to stay. Jamal's Helping Hands has helped me pay for a place to stay and also helped me get food while I was in my hospital stay. I was diagnosed with a rare illness several years ago, and I have to travel from MS to Houston, Texas, to MD Anderson. This has been a long and hard journey, but; Jamal Helping Hands has lightened the load and stepped in at the right time, which has strengthened my faith so much.
